Field trip and dress

I went with Morgan's class on a field trip to the farm on Thursday. It was fun and beautiful day, but a LOT of walking! Then we didn't even have an hour at home before leaving for gymnastics. I was exhausted and ordered a pizza to be ready to pick up on our way home. Well, to top off my tiredness and just wanting to get home and rest.....we went to leave and I'd locked the keys in the van! Jason was playing in a golf tournament in Nashville and I was in Murfreesboro, so he was no help. Because there was no child or pet in the car, the police wouldn't help me and I had to call a locksmith. Needless to say, I was almost in tears and our pizza was cold by the time we were able to eat it!

Wishing well?!!

For those of you who haven't seen the movie lately or who just have boys, this won't be as funny to you! Mollie is very into all the Disney princess movies. She hardly ever wants to watch what is on regular cartoons anymore, but instead wants to put in a "DDVDD." Yesterday she watched part of Snow White as I got ready and if you haven't seen it lately, I'll fill you in. At the beginning, Snow White is singing into a wishing well and it echos back to her. Soon you hear a man's voice (the prince) which frightens her since she is very shy and she runs inside to hide. Well, it was time to leave for Mollie's school and I told her to go potty. I then heard singing and went to check on her. She was holding both sides of the toilet, singing down into it! She told me she was singing into the wishing well like Snow White!! And "why wasn't it singing back to her?" I was cracking up!!!! :)

Messed up....

WOW! Are we having computer problems! I was gone over the weekend and somehow now all these awful adult sites and pop-ups are coming on and making it very hard to get anything else done! Plus, I've been trying to figure out our new camera and software at the same time.
In my last post, as I was describing my busy life, I forgot to mention that I just finished taking a sewing class on Tuesdays while Mollie is also at school. I made Mollie a dress and hope to make more before I forget what to do! I'll take a picture and put it on soon! Also, I forgot to mention that I tutor on Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school. We are home about 10 minutes and Tiara's (yes, like a princess wears) grandmother brings her to the house!!! Then she sits and reads in the driveway in her blue jaguar! It's very convenient!
This is a picture of Morgan's class after Q and U's wedding at school! It was adorable. Ms. U had u's all over her vail. They said things like they had to promise to stick together to make great words like quack, quarter, quick, etc.. I was in charge of the reception....including a punch bowl of dirnk and a Little Debbie stacked wedding cake and mints!

Long time!

Sorry to those of you who check on us regularly! I know it's been over 2 weeks since I've posted. I've just been extremely busy and am really trying to get to bed earlier at night...although I never seem to make it until around 11 and then by the time I find a comfortable position, it's even later! For a stay-at-home mom, I don't know how I could fit much more into my schedule right now. On Mondays, I babysit our neighbor's 20-month old grandson, Hudson. We usually stick around the house most of the day until time to go get Morgan and I try to catch up on laundry, folding, etc from the weekend. Tuesdays and Thursdays: Both girls are in school, but I seem to always have an appointment, errands to run or lunch outings with friends without kids! Plus, Mollie goes 2 hours later than Morgan and gets done sooner, so the travel time between toting them around doesn't leave me much. Then, on Tuesday evenings, the girls have gymnastics which puts us gone from 5:30-almost 8 and then bedtime. Wednesday is a whatever day for me and Mollie; it varies between getting things done at home or running more errands and that night I teach the 2 1/2 year olds at church. Friday mornings we go to Bible/book study at church. My week just flies by. And right now I am trying to be very involved with Morgan's class because I don't know how much I'll be able to do next year with a new baby. And I'm also in charge of the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at Mollie's school for the 4th year now. Lots of planning, meetings and phone calls.
Anyway, this is why I haven't blogged much lately. Plus, we have a new camera that I haven't figured out how to use on here yet. I promise to do better with our blog very soon!!!! :))
