Trash

Driving down the road a couple days ago, we noticed a lot of trash along one side of the road. It looked like someone had lots several bags or garbage and they busted open. I commented about it and Morgan said, "That's littering! The men in the orange suits need to come pick it up!" We were then cracking up and had to explain to her who they were and why they picked it up sometimes.

Busy times

I know it's been a very long time since I've updated the blog and I'm sorry. We've been very busy and I just haven't taken a lot of pictures. Most of the recent ones are just of Mia. She is now sitting up (still falls over occasionally though) and is loving to eat. She's always loved the bottles, but not eats cereal in the morning and fruits/veggies in the evening. Every day, she's learning and doing new things. I just want to pause her right here and not let her get any bigger yet. She's at such a fun cute age. Mia loves to scrunch her nose.
Mollie was posing to show their coordinating shirts!
Mia was getting a ride in the laundry basket so I'd only have to make one trip upstairs!

Mia went to her class for the first time Sunday morning. She wouldn't smile but looked so cute in the seat. Morgan and Mollie are good too; I just haven't taken many pictures lately. They both are still loving gymnastics. Mollie goes to speech two mornings a week for 30 minutes and then school two other days. Morgan is busy with Brownies (Girl Scouts) and other school activities. More to come.....

Christmas 2008

We've had a nice Christmas break this year. Now that we're back from Indiana, it is so nice to wake up when we want (except of course for the fact that the kids get me up a little earlier than preferred!), but I mean with no alarms set. I love the lack of schedule that we're on right now. After we had Christmas here as a family, we headed north. We had a wonderful visit with my brother, Craig, Hasmig and my adorable nephew Bennett! We miss them already. He just turned two in December and is already fully potty-trained and talks so well for his age. The girls had a great time playing with him.
This picture is of the girls Christmas Eve with the sign that we make every year. We hang it across the top of the stairs to remind them to call us and not come running down before we're ready. They can't get to our room without going by the tree, so we don't want to miss the "first glance"!

Both girls got new beanbags....obviously Mia was enjoying them too!
The BIG gift this year was a trampoline! Only Santa didn't set it up....Jason did it after we returned and it is the first thing they both want to do in the morning! This is the first time they got to jump...notice it is dark!
The girls love their Aunt Hasmig!!!
Bennett "holding" Mia!
Mia napping with Uncle Craig.
The girls in their coordinating sweaters!
The girls with Bennett. We didn't get a picture with ALL the extended family 2nd cousins....by the time we thought about it, we were ALL too tired to attempt it!
