Trying Mollie's clip again

It was Mollie's turn....

Gymnastics

I found the girls "new" leotards at our recent consignment sale. They were by far the girls' favorite item that I got for them! Here they are modeling them.

The girls are still loving gymnastics! Since the Olympics, we have jokingly (yet, it's very true) said that Mollie is built like Shawn Johnson and Morgan like Nastia! Here is a clip from Mollie's class today. I couldn't get Morgan's close enough to get anything good.

On the last day of each session, the kids go up on the platform and receive some sort of medal or prize and raise their arms, etc. That was today and because of the recent Olympic games, they got "real" medals! Morgan

Smiling sisters

This was the first picture of all three girls where I've been able to capture Mia smiling. It is quite a big smile too! She loves her big sisters already...they are all so happy to see each other after both have been at school.

More recent Mia pics

Mia is a much more pleasant baby now (most of the time), now that we have her tummy figured out! She has a sweet smile and is really recognizing us all. Her big sisters smother her with kisses and lots of hair in her face! She'll learn she has to be tough soon enough.

Yes...I look more like Daddy when my eyes are open-big and brown! He calls me his "mini-me."

This picture makes me laugh. Mia was loudly filling her pants while Mollie was holding her so Mollie was just laughing. Mia is like, "What!?"

Mollie's 4th birthday

Saturday, we celebrated Mollie's 4th birthday (her birthday is actually Tuesday, the 26th). The kids loved the big waterslide that we were able to borrow from our church.
Mollie has been asking for rain boots for months...maybe longer! Look at her excited face in these next two pictures. She hasn't hardly taken them off in the last 2 days. Thank you Uncle Craig, Aunt Hasmig and Bennett!

Happy (for the moment) Mia

Mia is still not what I would call a "happy, easy baby." Don't know if it's because she's still just 6 weeks old or if it's due to all the tummy issues she's been having and trying to figure out the best diet for her rapidly growing figure! She was almost 12lbs a week ago! Here is a clip of one of her pleasant moments the other morning. Thank goodness she's smiling now...it helps!

Neat birthday idea!

The girls went to an Olympic-themed birthday party last Saturday for a little girl in Morgan's class. It was the neatest thing I've seen in a while...an much more creative than I am or could be right now! She had the kids choose out a red, white or blue wristband and that decided the teams. Then there were 5 different events (long jump, cycling, relay, etc) Check out these pictures!

First days of school

Morgan's first day was Monday and she did great! She came home telling me all kinds of things about her day. Mollie started on Tuesday and also had a good first day. She was crying when I picked her up though...her teacher said she did great until it was time to put away the nap mats. She thought she got to bring it back home with her! She is using a new one this year. Not really new (Morgan used it for half of last year) but it's new to her and she was VERY excited to take it this morning!
