Mollie and Mia too!

Everything seems to be about Morgan lately since she's the oldest and in the most activities. But Mollie and Mia are doing great too. Mollie LOVES going to speech (actually she loves her teacher-Morgan's friend Ella's mom) even if she's there with 2 boys. She can hold her own, no problem! And her preschool teacher told me Thursday that she wishes she had a whole class of Mollie's because she is perfect! Talk about pumping a mommy up!!!! Of course, she gets in the van and starts the arm crossing and eye rolling, but at least she's "perfect" at school!
Mia is growing like a weed and will be 8 months on Monday! Can you believe it? The girls keep saying they want her to stay a baby forever. I would like to pause her growth for a few more months at least. She's at such a fun age right now and sitting up, but still immobile! Pray for her though-her tongue surgery is Monday the 2nd! We're hoping it will prevent future speech problems. Plus, she's starting to get choked more easily because she gets the food stuck on the roof of her mouth and her tongue can't reach to push it out! Keep her in your prayers...they have to put her to sleep. She can't eat past 6:30 and the surgery isn't until 12:30!

My jackolantern!!!

Morgan lost her 3rd tooth today (her first one on the top)! The adult bottom two have already come in so this is the biggest hole she's had. She was so excited after school today!

Cookies....almost finished!!! FINALLY!

I am SO ready to have this cookie stuff behind us. We've been selling since right after Christmas and are finished now, but I (for some reason that I have yet to figure out) volunteered to be in charge of the cookie sales, including the thousands of dollars that our troop sold/has to pay, etc. It has been way more work than I anticipated. I have worked with Morgan at 3 booth sales in the last 2 weekends, at 2 Krogers and at a bank. Here is a picture of one the Krogers.

Valentine's Day

Our girls love having pancakes most every Saturday morning. It is kind of a tradition now. Since V-day fell on Saturday this year, I was trying to make it extra special. Here were their heart shaped pancakes! Thanks to all the grandparents, Aunt Hasmig, Uncle Craig and Bennett and Mrs. Shirley and Mr. Bill for spoiling our children.....we didn't have to "get" them anything with all the treats they received!!!

Father/ Daughter Dance

On Sunday afternoon, Morgan and Jason had a Father/ Daughter dance for Girl Scouts. It was just for 2 hours held at an elementary school, but was for the whole Smyrna/ Lavergne council of Girl Scouts. They had fun, but very VERY warm inside a school gym considering it was mid- 70's outside today. These are the only pictures I got since the mom's were only allowed at the dance for the first dance...so it wasn't worth my time to drive there with both other girls! Hopefully the professional picture will turn out well!

Cookies

Saturday morning was the day that I had to go pick up all the cases of cookies ordered by Morgan's Girl Scout troop. Another mom and I went at 9am to a warehouse where our cookies were bubbled wrapped on a palette. It was very organized, but still hectic. Then, we took our two fully-loaded vehicles to another troop members house to sort. Morgan and 3 other brownie friends helped sort out everyone's orders to be picked up. I forgot to take a picture of the loaded vans, but here is the cases sorted by type in the garage, before we sorted by person. Each box you see holds 12 boxes of cookies!

Winterfest

Last Friday night was Winterfest at Morgan's school. Lots of the rooms had games set up and there were inflatables in the gym. There were also silent auction baskets to benefit each classroom. The girls had a great time, despite the terrible crowds and only getting to do 5-6 things during the 2 hours we were there. Mia got hot and tired but was a little trooper in her stroller. Like Jason said, it was so loud in the school, we couldn't have heard her fussing even if she was! Mollie won some cupcakes her first time playing the cake walk which made her VERY excited! She was a little intimidated by some of the other activites and SO many people.
This is Morgan with her teacher!! She is one of the "Teasy Sisters" who spray paint hair! They were hysterical!

By the time we got there, they were out of pink and purple, so she settled with yellow and green with silver sparkles!
Both girls got their faces painted!
For church Sunday, the girls coordinated in black/white cow prints. Morgan actually had more of a zebra print on her belt and ribbon, but they still looked cute!
