Last Friday, Morgan's school had a fundraiser called the Ram Run. The kids simply raised money and then for an hour got to run/walk around the track to some fun music. The didn't mind younger siblings being there since it was all outside so Mollie, Mia and I got to go and "help" (actually just observe!). Here are some pictures from Friday....
Morgan's class...
Morgan and Emma ....
Morgan and Mollie taking a water break. I thought this was so cute of them sitting the same way from behind!
Mia being a sweet girl! She loves it outside...
This is just a cute picture ready for church last Wednesday night. They're all wearing denim dresses...not identical but close enough. And no, Morgan isn't usually allowed to hold Mia standing up, just this one time for the picture!
This first picture is soooo Mollie...standing with her hand on her hip and not looking where she's supposed to be!

Stickers for Mia!
I think Mollie may be getting the idea of "unconditional love" that I wrote about the other day when Mia kept crying and I said I loved her even when she cries. Today, in the car, Mia was awake and not crying, stayed pleasant in the store and then again on our way home. Mollie recognized this and said, "Mommy...Mia is being soooo good today. She's not crying in the car. I still love her when she cries, but I just don't want to listen to it today. I think she needs a sticker!"

1st grade knowledge
Jason and I really don't remember learning some of the things that Morgan is learning this year in first grade. We realize that she does go to a magnet school and they move more quickly and are really challenged, but still. Today we were on our way to gymnastics and the older girls were both looking at their car pick-up name tags. Morgan suddenly said, "Mommy, I have a multi-letter phonogram at the end of my last name!" She caught me so off-guard that I said, "you do what?!" She repeated it and told me it was the "ng." If she says so!!!

Funny conversation with Mollie
As difficult as Mollie used to be, she has really turned into a very loving, sweet little girl. She is a very deep thinker and always planning ahead (I joke that she's my little calendar..always asking where we're going tomorrow or what we have to do!). She just randomly will say, "Mommy, I wuv (love) you!" And she does this about 15 times a day. It is precious! Well, today she had said it to me about 5x just on our trip to one store and to pick up Morgan from school. Mia was crying on the way home and she again told me this. Here is how the conversation went...
Mollie: Mommy, I wuv you!
Lori: I love you too, Mollie! And Morgan and Mia and Daddy too!
Mollie: I love Mia too....but she's crying.
Lori: I love her even when she's crying.
Mollie: (after a short pause) I love her too when she's crying...a little bit. But I can't hear the music!!!

Some more recent pictures...
BIG brown eyes! We thought she looked so pretty in this dress.I had to take this picture of the girls in more coordinating outfits! We can't do it much now that school has started back up, but this was for Wednesday night church.
Smiling, ready for church.
She was proving that she really does have a neck!!! It's just usually hidden with her massive cheeks!

Look out big sisters....
...here I come! And we thought the other 2 girls were big. Mollie and Mia went for their 4-year and 2 month check-ups this week. Mia weighed 13lbs 4oz and was in the 96%tile! This is a pound bigger than Mollie was and 1/2 pound bigger than Morgan was at this age. She is obviously gaining weight and checked out perfect!
Mollie also did great this time (at her 3 year, I made the mistake of taking her after school when she was exhausted and she pitched a royal fit just about getting on the scale and getting measured! The shots weren't the issue!) She also is healthy, weighing in at 45lbs (97%) and 43 inches tall(95%). They assured me that she is not heavy at all, that the percentages should be close like this...meaning that she should weigh that much for being that tall!
More pictures coming soon!
