Morgan is officially finished with Kindergarten now and can be called a first grader! I like the sound of Kindergartener better...1st grade sounds really old! She had field day last week, a "splash day" where they played in water all day, and Friday, her teacher had a pancake breakfast for everyone, including the parents. Jason and I went and were able to leave Mollie at home since Craig and Hasmig (and sweet Bennett, of course) were here. We thought that she'd feel more special since she never gets Mommy and Daddy to herself without Mollie coming along but instead was crying because Mollie got to stay home with Bennett!! We had a good rest of the weekend with them though. This is the 3rd of 4th year in a row that they've been able to visit us on Memorial Day weekend. We all were very excited since we hadn't seen each other since mid-December.
Morgan helping her class do the "tug-of-war" during her field day last week.
We took the kids to the "SplashPad" which is here in Smyrna and just a bunch of water sprayers and sprinkler things. It is free and Bennett absolutely loved it! We had just gotten here and he hadn't seen it yet, so he just sat down in the parking lot because he was so tired and didn't want to walk!
What a sweet face!!! He walked around like the big kids and loved it!Morgan and Bennett trying to get through some rings spraying water!
The girls sitting on top of sprinklers!
Trying to get a picture of the 3 kids before church. This is what Bennett was usually doing!
At least the girls were old enough to sit still for a picture!
We finally got some together while at IHOP when he was in a highchair and couldn't get out!!
We had a great weekend with Craig, Hasmig, Bennett, and Mom and Dad. The guys played lots of golf, but it was nice to be with everyone together. Probably won't see any of them again until after baby Mia arrives in about 5 short weeks!!!!

Did I figure it out?
Today started Morgan's last full week of Kindergarten! That is hard to believe it is over already. Mollie has 2 days of her school left this week too. And then we have an adjustment as we get used to everyone being home everyday again! And then in a little over a month.....a baby!! The furniture finally got moved this weekend so I'm feeling MUCH better about getting things ready. The girls are all keeping their same rooms, but the furniture all changed. Now, we just have to paint the baby's room (old guest room) and add the finishing touches. Here are some pictures (I hope) that I will explain as we go.
This is the dress that I made for Morgan! She picked out the material so that I knew she'd wear it! She has adorable pink/green flip flops and hair bow to match!
Last weekend in Birmingham, we went to a small outdoor crafty festival and Morgan got her face painted. Daddy made her wash it off before going out of dinner though. Mollie chickened out after waiting in line about half an hour!
The girls dressed in coordinating outfits from Gymboree.
Just me and my girls...at least the two you can see now. I made sure the belly was covered as I'm getting very big and as Dad said..."look like I'm about to pop!" Thanks Dad!
Morgan and her teacher before her Kindergarten musical .."EIEI..Oops" last week. She was a sheep. And let me just say that I spent over 2 hours making her costume for a 20 minute play! It had to be redone after they performed for the school that morning because everyone's wool came off. It was all over the school. So between a whole can of spray adhesive, poly-fil and a whole can of aerosol hair spray to make it stiffer...she was extremely flamable and the costume went straight to the school dumpster right after the show! It was sad after all the time I spent on it!!

so sorry
For those of you who do regularly check our blog, I want to say that I am SO sorry I haven't kept regular updates lately. We have been super busy with school ending in 1 more week amongst other things. Plus, I still haven't quite figured out how to easily download our pictures for this!
I attend a Ladies Bible Study every friday morning. We actually read Christian fiction books and then discuss them and talk, not a real hard-core bible study! Plus, it's an hour and a half with childcare paid for by our church. Anyway, I was supposed to have to miss today to help with "Splash Day" at Morgan's school, but the weather is only in the 60's today so it was postponed. Mollie was disappointed because she was supposed to go down the road to a friend's house to play. He is just a few months older than she is. I laughed because she wasn't excited to have me back with her all day, but disappointed because she wanted to play with Upton's swords!!!!! Isn't it funny how they get excited to play with the things that we don't have at our own house!
Tomorrow night, some friends from church are having a Girls Night Out/Baby Shower for me at a restaraunt here in town. I told the girls that after school today they could take a nap and then Grandma and Grandpa would be here. Mollie immediately said, "but when will we clean the house?" Maybe I put too much emphasis on cleaning when someone's coming!
